About

Prof. Mohamed Soliman is currently a full time Professor of Water Resources Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, Beirut Arab University. He pursued his M.SC. from Alexandria University and his Ph.D. in Civil and Earth Resources Engineering from Kyoto University, Japan. His research focuses on the hydrodynamic and water-quality modelling of lakes, rivers, and coastal water bodies. He also applies distributed hydrological models to assess rainfall–runoff processes and predict flash-flood hazards.

Through his academic and professional expertise, Prof. Soliman promotes sustainable water management and the use of advanced numerical modelling in solving complex environmental challenges.
